Beginning Monday, February 8, the Crawfordsville District Public Library and Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County buildings will be open to the public for those who wish to browse the collections and exhibits or to use library resources.
- Browsers of library collections are encouraged to “grab and go,” rather than linger for long periods of time.
- Use of the public computers and research services are by appointment only.
- Front entrance item pickup services will remain available, as will wifi throughout the parking lot.
- The meeting rooms are not open at this time, and gatherings in other areas of the library are discouraged.
Hours for each location are listed below.
- The library’s open hours will continue to be Monday through Thursday, 9am-7pm, and Friday through Saturday, 9am-5pm. The library will remain closed on Sundays for the time being.
- The museum will be open to the public by appointment Wednesday through Friday, 10am-5pm. The museum will be closed on Saturdays, at this time.
Proper usage of a face covering is required in both buildings, as is social distancing from other patrons and staff. If any patron feels ill, we ask that the person not enter the building, but go home and take care of themselves. We also ask that library patrons keep the number and duration of visits to a minimum at this time.
