  • Browsers of library collections are encouraged to “grab and go,” rather than linger for long periods of time.
  • Use of the public computers and research services are by appointment only.
  • Front entrance item pickup services will remain available, as will wifi throughout the parking lot.
  • The meeting rooms are not open at this time, and gatherings in other areas of the library are discouraged.

We also ask that library patrons keep the number and duration of visits to a minimum at this time.

12/11/2020: Due to rising COVID case numbers in the area, Crawfordsville District Public Library is adjusting services to help keep patrons and employees safe.

Beginning Saturday, December 12, the library will limit in-person services to front entrance pickup of reading materials, audiobooks, and DVDs. Limited computer use will be available by appointment.

CDPL staff will be available by phone and email for research and reference help, and the website will be available 24/7 for browsing of materials, virtual programs, and research.

These service adjustments will be in effect until further notice.

Please see the newly revised COVID-19 Safety Measures Plan  for additional details.
