The young men in this photograph were members of the Crawfordsville High School football team during the 1901-1902 school year. They are: Front Row (from left to right): John Sidener and Ward Williams; Middle Row (from left to right): Harry Richard, John Shepherd, Glenn Henry, Rome Williams, and Carl Alfrey; Back Row (from left to right): Ralph Wicks, Robert Irone, Will Sprow, Niles Haton, Frank Symmes, and Frank Glover. This photograph was printed in the 1902 Crawfordsville High School yearbook, The Utopian.

They are: Front Row (from left to right): "---, John Shepherd?, ---, Harter Walter, Glenn Henry?, ---, and Timothy Davis?"; Back Row (from left to right): "Niles Haton, Will Sprow, and ---."


New Market High School's basketball team won the Montgomery County Basketball Championship during the 1938-1939 school year. The men pictured are as follows: Mr. Hester (Jack Hester, the coach), Keith Martin, John Alney, Eugene Lane, Joe Pointer, Junior Gardner, E. O. Kirkpatrick (the school principal), Daniel Sayler, Bill Etter, Joe Clamnnes, Daniel Reene, Bud Marts, and Ernie Myers."


These three basketball players played for four years at New Market High School (the team won the county championship three out of those four years). They are (from left to right): Bud Marts, Junior Garnder, and Bill Etter. This photograph was taken during the 1940-1941 school year.


These girls made up the 1922 Waynetown High School girl's basketball team. There are eight girls pictured, and they are seated outside the Waynetown High School building. Top (L to R): L. Rivers, H. Wilson, Miss Dodt, J. Krug, K. Wert. Bottom: B. Fowler, B. Skaggs, M. Lewellyn


The young women in this photograph were members of the New Richmond High School women's basketball team for the 1916-1917 school year. They are: "Ruth Hunt - Carrie, Punk (Mildred Tribby, mother of Joan Oppy), Nelle, Gay, Frances Kirkpatrick, Hellen, Jones Harris, Mildred, 'B', Edith, and Beulah. Holding ball: Opal Westfall." This photograph was taken in March 1917.

The young men pictured are: Front Row (left to right): "Bob Long, Herb Kelse, Clif Myers, Pete Moser, Bill Records, Reid Canine; Middle Row (left to right): John Dietrich, Boots Miles, John Gilliland, Charles Ferrell, Jim Fullenwider, Archie Sprague, Hugh Moore; Top Row (left to right): J. D. Blacker, Lyle Tucker, Ted Moore, Glenn Stewart, and T. W. Records." This picture was donated by Bill Durham. The note that he left says, "There's some confusion as to the identity of the person on the far left, second row. The front indicates my father, William Harold Durham, but the back shows someone else. It looks like it could be my father. He was born 1904-12-07. - Bill Durham." The team is seated on the front steps of the Waveland High School building.

1915 Bowers Boys Basketball Team. Everyone in the photograph is unidentified except for Roscoe M. Elmore who is standing on the far right of the back row. He might have been serving as head coach that year.
