World War I Letters

30 July 1918: Amos Brenneman

letter

Somewhere in Franc,
July 30, 1918

Dear folks this leave
me on my way to the
hospital.
I was slightly
wonted the other day
I have been look after
by the U.S. Doctors, and
red cross, just fine.
I think I will get by
very well.
so I will write often
as I can
I also go[t] some gas --
not bad I don't think
Hope this will
find you all well
As ever Amos Brenneman
Co. C 167 U.S. Inf.
